Reuse events with templates

Templates save time on events you run often, like weekly bingo.

Create a template

1. Open Events and select Templates.
2. Select New template.
3. Enter a Title, then any of Description, Category, Location, Duration (min) and Default capacity.
4. Pick a Care-level calendar.
5. Select Save template.

Use a template once

1. Open Templates.
2. Select Use on a template.
3. The event form opens, filled in. Set the date and select Create event.

Create a series

1. Open Templates and select Bulk.
2. Set the Start date, End date and Time of day.
3. Under Repeat on, tick the weekdays.
4. Choose the Care-level calendar.
5. Check the count, then select the Generate button.

Good to know

• Events from Bulk are separate. Changing one doesn't change the others.
• One Bulk run can create up to 200 events.
• Unlike New event, Bulk doesn't show a conflict warning, so check your calendar first.

If something goes wrong

• "No dates selected." Pick a date range and at least one weekday.
• "Too many events." Narrow the date range.
